I have a hard time feeling feminine in pants, BUT I am capable of rocking them. Really. I have avoided owning pants that aren’t skinny jeans or jeggings since 2009 and am happiest in a skirt or dress. It makes me feel ultra-feminine on days when I'm feeling anything but.
I have this mental block that comes with not showing my legs. I have always felt that as a big girl, it totally drained the sex appeal from me. I couldn't "pull off" wearing the understated but sexy jeans and a tank top look.
I've been trying to confront the concept of what people can and can't "pull off."
What does saying something can be pulled off mean? That some people can try but can not aspire to look as good as someone else? That it flatters the body and makes it look polished, put together, or attractive? Flattering comes in all sizes (and fits!), and I'm here to prove it.

I also need to get past the idea that flattering comes only from clothes. Insecurity can go a long way to wrecking your composure. Confidence is the best accessory!
I went to GoodWill and pantsed up my wardrobe, and it was relatively painless. I am SUPER excited about the potential outfits.
Visiting my parents, I'm living out of my suitcase. Accessories and choice of tops and shoes are a bit limited. This is what I'm working with:
floral scarf: Walmart $3
jeans: Good Will $1
black tanktop: GAP $1
striped white and brown cardigan: Walmart $5
$10 for my outfit!
